Welcome to Advanced Poetry!

This semester course is for senior Creative Writing students interested in studying the art of poetry and writing original poetry. An open mind and supportive attitude will be essential as we workshop each other’s poems. We will be exploring several approaches to the art of writing poetry through a variety of different exercises to generate poems in open and closed forms.

    Advanced Poetry is the blog title I came up with. It wasn't crazy creative but I think it sums the class up well, and it's something I will be able to remember. I'm not always that dry I promise.

    I am commenting with a comment about the weather. It is very decent. I can't wait to go home and sleep. Maybe I will dream about writing poetry. Here is my original title: theswaggofpoetry.

    Hello this is Gus and I am posting a comment on this blog. The title of my poem was "a bundle of life, and a pen" but that's a pretty bad blog title I think. OK. The exisiting blog title is pretty fine.

    I was absent and need credit, so I'm just now seeing this... How lovely.

    Mine would probably be, "Insert Title Here" since I sometimes leave it up to others to name my work. It sucks, that's why I'm bad at this.
